Description

Two K6 telephone kiosks stand outside York Hall in Bethnal Green. Designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, these kiosks are constructed of cast iron. They are square in plan with domed roofs, featuring unperforated crowns on the top panels and margin glazing to the windows and doors. Various contractors were involved in their manufacture.
