Description

The building at 126-130 Cannon Street Road, E1, dates to the late 18th century. It is constructed of yellow brick, with a channelled stucco finish to the ground floor. The facades of numbers 126 and 128 have been painted. The building is three storeys high, with basement levels and dormers, and features two windows. Most windows have gauged flat arches, recessed, and contain glazing bars. The doorcases are distinguished by carved, shaped brackets and pediments, or dentilled cornices; number 126 has a pediment, which may have been replaced, supported by enriched brackets. Numbers 116 to 122 and 126 to 130 form a group.
