Description

This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of houses located on the south side of Old Ford Road. The terrace comprises numbers 98 to 124, and is built of stock brick with a stucco frieze cornice and blocking course, as well as a cill band and plinth. The windows are sash windows, some with vertical bars or margin lights, and have moulded architraves. Ground-floor windows have cornices, some of which are bracketed. Number 116 has ornamental cast iron first-floor guards. The front doors are paired, consisting of two long panels, crowned with a cornice head and a segmental fanlight, set within roll-moulded reveals. The door surrounds are wide, round-headed stucco structures with pilasters and impost blocks. The terrace is designated for group value.
