Description

Nos 292 to 302 on Old Ford Road are a mid to late 19th-century terrace built from stock brick, featuring a parapet. The building stands three storeys high with basements and has two windows on each floor. The first-floor windows are paired and have pediments with stucco architraves. The ground floor includes three-light windows, with alternate ones also having pediments. At the ends, a door and window are linked by a tented stucco cornice and quoins. The paired doorways are adorned with stucco architraves and a cornice, with steps leading up to them. This terrace is part of a group that includes the Victoria Veneer Mills, Nos 236 to 256, 274 to 302, The Crown Hotel, and The Royal Cricketers Public House, along with the Lodge at Crown Gate West in Victoria Park.
