Description

The Church of St Patrick is a Roman Catholic church built in 1879, designed by the architect Tasker. A narthex was added in 1892. The church is constructed of yellow stock brick and features pedimented gable ends with a stone cornice. It has a classical design, characterized by high paired rectangular windows above a stone band. The narthex is adorned with five arches, and there are panelled doors along with wrought iron entrance gates. Inside, the church boasts large Ionic columns and a nave with a timber wagon roof.
