Description

The gate and end piers to No 133, which houses the Department of Health and Social Security, date from around 1840. They are made of stucco and feature rounded, panelled designs topped with domed caps. These piers, along with No 133, are part of a group that includes Pope John House, the piers and walls surrounding Poplar Recreation Ground, and the memorial located in the Recreation Ground opposite.
