Description
Dowgate Wharf P B Burgoyne & Company Limited Warehouse is a brick warehouse built in the first half of the 19th century. It features a heavy corbelled cornice and a blocking course, although part of it has been demolished to create an entrance. The building stands two storeys tall, with a large window featuring glazing bars on the top floor and smaller blocked windows on the ground floor. It adjoins a four-storey section that has a similar blocking course and cornice. The windows are set within brick arches and have flat arches above them. This warehouse is part of a group of listed warehouses and associated buildings located on the east side of St Leonard's Street.
