Description

This is a triangular stone milestone located against the front garden wall of Number 20, which is not included in the listing. The milestone dates from the 18th century and is inscribed with "4 1/2" in the center. The north face reads "Miles/ from the/ Treasury/ Whitehall," while the south face states "Miles/ from the/ Standard/ Cornhill."
