Description

Lyndenhurst House is an early 18th-century house located on the north side of Village Way, Southwark. It is constructed of reddish brick with red brick dressings, and has a tiled mansard roof concealed behind a parapet, with dormers set behind it. The house is two storeys and an attic in height, with five bays. A flight of steps leads up to a central timber doorcase, featuring Doric columns supporting an entablature. A later, single-story projection extends from the right side of the door, incorporating a large four-light window. The casement windows have flat, gauged-brick arches, and the windows on the front elevation are fitted with blind boxes. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
