Description
This is a terrace of houses located on Holly Grove, built around 1816 to 1822. The houses are constructed from amber brick with some stucco and feature low-pitched, hipped slate roofs, which are separately hipped over the outer entrance bays. The terrace consists of two storeys and a basement, with each house having two bays. The entrance bays for numbers 22 and 23 are paired in the center.
There are steps leading up to the entrances, which are adorned with cast-iron handrails and a screen of two Tuscan columns, although one column is missing from number 23. The entrances feature a curved recess where the door is located, flanked by two round-arched, blank niches and topped with a decorative oblong fanlight. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set beneath cambered, gauged-brick arches. The ground floor windows are placed in round-arched recesses that rest on a basement plinth. The interior has not been inspected. Numbers 5 to 24 on Holly Grove form a group of listed buildings.
