  1. Early-mid C19 near-symmetrical composition. Tall central block of four storeys and basement, five windows has lower, flanking houses of three and two windows. Stock brick with stucco entablature and blocking course to centre block, parapets before slated mansards with dormers at sides. Basement and ground floor stuccoed with banded rustication. No 166 stucco fronted. Sash windows mostly with glazing bars in moulded architraves, round arched and with bracketed cills to ground floor of No 164. Six steps to central prostyle Tuscan porch. No 162 has 6-panel door with fanlight in architrave. No 166 has door altered to window.
