Description
No 122 Kennington Road is a large late 18th century building that stands three storeys high, with an attic and basement. The exterior is finished in stucco and features a slated mansard roof with dormers set behind a parapet over a cornice. The building has three windows, with sash windows that include glazing bars, except for the first floor which has a canted oriel window with three long casements set in moulded architraves. This oriel is topped with a modillion cornice and has a hipped lead roof, along with a delicate cast iron balcony surrounding it. Access to the building is via five steps leading to a top glazed six-panel door, which is framed by a moulded architrave and topped with a bracketed cornice hood. The basement has been altered for use as a garage.
