Description
Nos 9, 10, and 11 Walnut Tree Walk are three adjoining buildings that date from the mid to late 18th century, although they were largely refronted in the early to mid 19th century. Each building stands three storeys tall and features three windows. They are constructed of stock brick and have a rebuilt parapet along with a cill band at the first floor. The sash windows, which mostly have glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches and set in stucco-lined reveals. The doors consist of four fielded panels and two beaded panels, situated in deep reveals, with No 9 having a panelled door. The buildings display moulded architraves and cornices supported by console brackets. Notably, No 9 features elaborate carved brackets above narrow pilasters, while No 10 has a large carriage entrance cut through its right bay, but it is included for group value.
