Description
27 to 81 Walcot Square is an early to mid-19th century terrace of houses, each featuring two storeys and a basement, with two windows on the front. The buildings are constructed from stock brick and have a parapet. The basement is stuccoed with incised lines. The first floor sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches. The ground floor features long casement windows with transoms, adorned with anthemion patterned cast iron balconies. Access to the front doors is via five steps, which have wrought iron handrails, leading to half-glazed five-panel doors set in flat stucco surrounds with cornices. The area railings include both cast and wrought iron elements.
