Description
99 to 105 Old South Lambeth Road is an early 19th-century short terrace of houses, each two storeys high with a basement and two windows. The buildings are constructed of stock brick. Numbers 103 and 105 feature stuccoed basements, and all the houses have a stuccoed frieze, cornice, and blocking course. Numbers 103 and 105 also have slate mansard roofs with dormer windows. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches. There are seven steps leading up to stone terraces in front of four-panel doors, each with rectangular fanlights set in stuccoed panels with cornices, except for No 105, which has a stucco lined reveal only. The steps and terraces are adorned with elegant wrought iron railings featuring delicate anthemion patterns.
