    1. Former Wheatsheaf Hall (Congregational mission hall). Red brick with stone dressings and tiled roofs. Two-storey irregular left part of three bays with 2 ground floor entrances set diagonally under overhanging first floor. Grouped casements with alternating block stone jambs. Central first floor window with round headed lights under raised stepped parapet breaking eaves. Moulded four-centred entrance arches. At right, round tower with conical roof and six single round headed lights on each floor. Main block has round left end with another conical roof. Set back at right another small round tower has doorway with red brick columns supporting stone shouldered lintel. Screen wall at left has 4-centred arched yard entrance with wrought iron gates.
