Description

This is an early to mid-19th century terrace comprised of numbers 24 to 40 and 24a to 40a Minet Road. Each property is two storeys high, with an attic and basement, and originally contained one window. The terrace is characterized by its wide proportions. The construction is primarily stock brick, with a stuccoed frieze and cornice, and a stuccoed basement. The roofs are slated mansard roofs, featuring dormers and dividing chimney walls. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within moulded architraves. Those on the ground floor have pediments and projecting bracketed cills. The doors are accessed via eight steps and each features three patterned panels, a rectangular fanlight, and is set within a modified entablature surround. Number 24 shares a double prostyle composite porch with fluted columns with number 22 Lilford Road.
