Description
Nos 297 and 299 on Coldharbour Lane are a mid-19th century pair of houses featuring Tudor details. They each stand two storeys tall and have two large windows. The buildings are constructed of stucco with incised lines and have a slated roof with two gables that return on either side of a central chimney, which is corbelled out at the first-floor level. The windows are casement style with bars, and the inner first-floor and outer ground-floor windows are set under hoodmoulds, the latter of which have headstops. The inner ground-floor windows are small canted bays with central sashes. The entrance to No 297 is located on the left return, while No 299 has its entrance in a one-storey extension, both featuring hoodmoulds above the doors. The outer extensions of the buildings are set back.
