Description
The forecourt wall, railings, gate piers, and gates at the former St John's School date from around 1853. The structure features a low brick wall with stone coping that runs from the south-west corner of the building to the east end of the property. This wall supports cast iron railings topped with fleur-de-lys finials. At the entrance, a pair of stone gate piers holds taller wrought iron gates that match the railings, featuring double standards to half rail.
