Description

The Tomb of Thomas Hancock, who died in 1865, is located in Kensal Green Cemetery. It features a Corinthian column made of Carrara marble, standing on a rectangular plinth that includes an inscription. Thomas Hancock, along with his partner Charles Macintosh, played a significant role in developing weatherproof clothing and is recognized as the inventor and founder of India Rubber manufacture.
