Description
Nos 1, 3, and 5 Lennox Gardens are terraced houses built around 1885. They rise four storeys plus a basement and attic, with each house being two bays wide. The exterior is constructed of red brick. The ground floor features a door that is accessed by steps over an area. Each house has canted bay windows that extend through the front, first, and second floors, except for No 3, where the bay window only rises through the first and second floors. All windows are sash-style, with the first and second floor windows having quoins that connect them vertically. The second floor windows are adorned with polygonal buttresses and shafts at the corners. The attic includes dormer windows, each with uniquely shaped gables. On the side facing Walton Street, the entrance to No 1 is accessed by steps leading to a porch that has an open segmental pediment, dimple fenestration, and a tablet set against the broad chimney breast.
