Description

Nos 10 to 17 Walton Place, along with No 18 (including 42 Hans Road), is a formal stucco terrace likely designed by George Basevi around 1830. The building features four storeys, with two windows on each level. The ground floor has channelled stucco, and there are projecting porches supported by square piers. A continuous cast iron balcony runs along the first floor, with a dentil cornice above the second floor and a subsidiary cornice above that. Nos 10 and 18 are slightly set forward and have rusticated quoins. The property is enclosed by cast iron garden railings and is part of a pair of terraces that includes Nos 1-9.
