Description
The Church of St Saviour is a church built in 1840, designed by architect George Basevi. It was restored and altered in 1878, with the chancel completed by Geldart. The church is constructed of yellow brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. It is designed in the Gothic style, characterized by traceried windows and buttresses. The church has a five-bay nave and a double north aisle.
