Description

The Tomb of Alexander Bruce, located in Kensal Green Cemetery, dates from around 1850. It is made of marble and features a two-stage monument. The design includes a rectangular pedestal that supports a tomb chest, which is adorned with a relief depicting mourning women beside an urn set in a tropical landscape. The inscription on the tomb refers to Bruce as "late of India."
