Description

The tomb of Lady Ann Isabella Noel Byron is located in Kensal Green Cemetery and dates from 1860. It features a slab made of Kenmay granite, which is inscribed, and is topped with an urn. The tomb is surrounded by squat posts and cast iron rails. Lady Ann, born Milbanke, was the wife of Lord Byron and the mother of Ada, Countess of Lovelace, who is recognized as a pioneer in computing. She dedicated her life to various reform causes.
