Description
This is a terrace of houses located at 148 to 158 Kensington Park Road, built in 1852. The buildings are finished in stucco and stand three storeys tall. At the center of Arundel Gardens, there is a pediment featuring an inscription in the tympanum that reads 'Kensington Park Terrace North'. The first floor has a continuous balcony supported by elaborately designed and well-preserved iron trellis work. The upper windows are arranged in pairs or trios, with most being round-arched. The terrace is topped with a modillion cornice and a high blocking course. Although No. 148 has lost its trellis work, it remains part of the group. This information is documented in the Survey of London, Volume XXXVII.
