Description
All Saints Church is a church built between 1852 and 1861 by architect William White. It is constructed of stone and features polychrome decoration. The church has a nave with a tall clerestory, aisles, transepts, and a short chancel. A tall west tower, which has five stages, is topped by a stump of a spire. The design is in the Geometrical Gothic style, characterized by wide arcades. The clerestory windows are made up of four lights arranged in a pattern of 1:2:1 within a larger blind arch. The chancel features a five-light window, and there are sanctuary paintings by Henry Holliday. This information is documented in the Survey of London, Volume 37.
