Description

Nos. 2 and 4 Lansdowne Road are a pair of semi-detached houses dating from the mid-19th century. They are two storeys high with a basement. The houses are constructed of stock brick, with four sash windows on each front, separated by prominent giant pilasters. Ground-floor windows are square-headed sashes, while those on the upper floor are round-headed. The pilasters are ornamented with console brackets where capitals might be expected. The houses feature overhanging eaves and a low-pitched slate roof. These features demonstrate group value.
