Description
This is a terrace of houses built in the later 19th century as part of Stanhope Gardens. The houses are stuccoed and arranged over five storeys and a basement, with each house featuring three windows. Prominent Doric porches are built forward, and the first floor has balustraded balconies. A canted bay window projects from the ground floor. The windows on the first and second floors have cornices, and the first floor central window is topped with a segmental pediment. A main cornice runs above the top floor, and a parapet tops the building. Cast iron area railings and fretwork are present on the porches. The terrace is listed primarily for its group value and contribution to the overall layout of Stanhope Gardens.
