Description
St Augustine's Vicarage, located at No 117, is a vicarage built in 1881 by the architect Butterfield. The building is constructed of yellow brick, featuring multi-coloured bands and diagonal patterns on the gable, which is adorned with a brick dentil eaves cornice and has a slated roof. It stands three storeys tall. The first-floor window is segmental and has an ornamental pointed stone relieving arch above it. The vicarage also includes ornamental brick buttresses topped with pointed stone finials. Other windows in the building are either one or two lights with cambered heads. This vicarage forms a group with the adjacent church.
