Description

This is a mid-19th century house, originally two separate dwellings, located in Harrington Gardens. The building is constructed of stucco and is two storeys high with a basement level. It features projecting wings, each three windows wide, which flank a recessed central section. The recessed section has a round-headed carriage entrance with a segmental pediment supported by Corinthian columns, and two windows above. The ground floor is channelled stucco, while the roof has a balustraded parapet. The first-floor windows are detailed with architraves and individual bracketed cornices; the central window of each wing has an additional segmental pediment. The basement areas are enclosed by richly decorated cast iron railings. A dormer window is present in the roof of the east wing. The building was formerly used as Jobmasters premises for many years.
