Description
23 Mulberry Walk is a terraced house built around 1914 by Sir Thomas Jackson for Mr. B H Jackson. It features yellow stock brick with red brick dressings, a first-floor band, and an attic floor modillion cornice. The roof is slated and has tall brick slab stacks on the party walls, fronted by two paired segmental-pedimented Dutch gables, each with a sash window.
The house has two storeys, an attic, and a basement, with three windows in total. The design is asymmetrical, with the entrance located to the right of centre. It has a pilastered doorcase that supports a bracketed cornice hood, and a panelled door with an overlight. The windows have gauged brick flat arches and flush-framed box sashes. Above the entrance, there is a rectangular sundial with a rubbed brick plaque and a segmental pediment, inscribed with "Sine Sole Sileo." The interior has not been inspected.
