Description
No. 64 Old Church Street is a house built in 1936 by architects Mendelssohn and Chermayeff, showcasing an International Modern style. The building is constructed of concrete and has two storeys with a flat roof. Its long facade faces the street, featuring a main block that is set back behind a single-storey wing, which includes a continuous strip window and a door to the right. To the right of the two-storey block, there is an almost blind section that juts forward, and a screen wall continues to the right. The main two-storey part has three almost square windows and a much larger landing window to the right. The metal windows are divided into small rectangular panes by glazing bars. A conservatory is present but is not original to the design. The interior has not been seen.
