Description

A terrace of houses built around 1824-1826. The terrace, which includes numbers 68-70 Bewdley Street (formerly number 329 Liverpool Road), is constructed of stock brick with a rusticated stucco ground floor, and has a mansard slate roof with party-wall stacks. The buildings are three storeys high, with a basement and attic. Each section has a two-window range of 6/6 sash windows. The ground-floor windows are round-arched and contain sashes, mainly with patterned heads. Doorways feature fluted quarter columns, fanlights, and panelled doors. The design is symmetrical, with projecting end and central bays, the first-floor windows of which are recessed within arches.
