Description

Wildbore House is a circa 1804 terraced house located on Liverpool Road, Islington. It is constructed of yellow stock brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a rusticated stucco ground floor, and has a Welsh-slate mansard roof topped with three dormers and end-wall stacks. The building follows a sidehall entrance plan and comprises three storeys with a basement and attic, featuring three windows per floor. Steps lead to the main entrance, which has a patterned fanlight and panelled door. The ground-floor openings are set within arched recesses connected by impost bands. The upper-floor windows are sash windows with gauged-brick flat arches. The first floor has cast-iron balconies featuring an antemion and wave pattern. A parapet tops the building.
