Terraced houses. 1843-4. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Two storeys, three windows each and double-fronted, the middle bay projecting by one brick's thickness. Steps up to central projecting stucco porch with Doric pilasters, entablature and blocking course, original panelled and studded doors to all houses, though only nos 8 and 9 have not had the upper panels glazed. Ground-floor windows flat-arched with stucco architrave. First floor has small round-arched window in central bay, flat-arched windows to either side, all with stucco architraves. Sashes of original design at no 9, no 10 ground floor, no 12 ground floor right and first-floor left, and no 13 first floor; all first-floor round-arched windows have sashes of original design. Stucco band to parapet. Stacks on party walls. These houses form a group with nos 1-6 Bingham Street (q.v.). (Historians' file, English Heritage London Division).
