Description

West Lodge is a detached villa built around 1845. It features stucco over brick, with a banded ground floor and stucco that mimics ashlar on the upper floors. The roof is obscured by a parapet, and there are stucco stacks. The villa has a central hall plan and stands three storeys tall, with a three-window range. To the right, there is a three-storey bowed projection that includes three-light sash windows on each floor. Steps lead up to the entrance, which has a recessed doorway with a three-light overlight and a panelled door. The windows are architraved sashes with cornices on the first floor. A dentiled cornice and a plain parapet complete the building's design.
