Terraced houses, now offices. c.1781. Brown and in places discoloured brick, stucco, roofs of slate. Four storeys over basement, four-window range. Basement and ground floor stuccoed, the ground floor decorated with banded rustication. Round-arched entrance framed by pilasters carrying entablature, cornice, and stepped blocking course; deeply recessed doorcase with cornice, fanlight and panelled door of original design; stucco terminates with storey band. Upper windows flat-arched to first floor, cambered-arched to second floor; 6/6 sashes of original design throughout. Brick string course above second-floor windows; parapet. Late C20 dormers in mansard roof; end stacks. The basements of nos 49-50 incorporate parts of the former Priory of St John of Jerusalem.
