Description

No. 8, Jerusalem Passage is a late 18th century terraced house, now used as offices. The building is constructed of brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with stucco detailing, and has a slate roof. It is three storeys high with a three-window front, designed as a double-fronted property. The ground floor is decorated with banded rustication in stucco, and features a flat-arched entrance with an overlight. Ground floor windows are flat-arched, while those on the first floor are cambered. The windows retain their original 6/6 sash design. A parapet sits atop the building, and a mansard roof is present, with an end stack. The interior was remodelled in the mid 20th century. The building is included on the list for its group value.
