Description

This is an early 18th-century building, now divided into three dwellings, situated on the west side of the High Road in Tottenham. The building presents as two storeys and an attic, with three windows across the front. It is constructed of stock brick with a stone-coped parapet. The roof is steeply pitched and has been renewed with modern tiles, incorporating two modern dormers. The sash windows retain gauged brick arches; those on the ground floor have been altered to plate glass shop windows within the original surrounds. A central pair of doors are round-arched, framed by stone impost blocks, and originally had blocked fanlights above half-glazed doors. To the right, a later bay contains a carriageway, defined by a high, elliptical arch constructed of gauged brick and supported on moulded stone impost blocks.
