Description

This is an early 19th-century front to what is likely an older house, located at 79 High Road, Tottenham. The building is three storeys high with a basement, and has a five-window facade. It is constructed of stock brick with a stone-coped parapet above a stone cornice, which is ornamented with brick dentils. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped, covered with tiles. The window surrounds feature gauged flat brick arches over replaced recessed sash windows. The front door consists of six fielded panels, a corniced head, a patterned radial fanlight above, and flanking pilasters. The building is part of a group value context with numbers 790 to 802 (even), and with the walls and railing leading to number 796.
