Description

This is a late 19th-century gas lamp constructed of cast iron. It features a chamfered base with a Gothic design, and a small Corinthian capital that supports the mantle apparatus and a four-sided glass lantern. The lamp is listed at group value as a complete and rare surviving example of a Victorian gas lamp.
