Description

The war memorial at Highgate School was erected in 1921 and features the 'Cross of Sacrifice' design created in 1919 by Sir Reginald Blomfield. It is made of Portland stone and stands on an octagonal stepped plinth, which is overlaid with a bronze sword. The memorial honors the students of the school who lost their lives in the First World War.
