Description

No. 8 Southwood Lane is a mid to late 18th-century house that stands three storeys tall with a basement and features three windows. The building is constructed of stock brick and has gauged red brick flat arches above the replaced sash windows, which are set in stucco-lined reveals. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and is topped by a plain rectangular fanlight. This door is framed by a Doric doorcase that includes flat pilasters and a dentilled cornice. Additionally, there are cast iron area railings present. Nos. 2 to 12 (even) form a group with this property.
