No 16 on Southwood Lane is an early 19th century building that stands three storeys tall and features two windows. It is constructed of stock brick and has a stone-coped parapet. The sash windows are topped with gauged flat brick arches, except for a later 19th century canted oriel bay on the ground floor. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with a cornice head and a patterned fanlight, set within a round arched recess, and there is a later cornice hood above it. The property also has cast iron area railings. To the left, there is a two-bay extension built around 1900, made of purplish brick with red brick dressings. The north angle of this extension is canted, bringing it close to the wall of No 18, which is set back. There may be an older building behind it.
