Description
This is a cattle trough and drinking fountain built in 1910. It is made of granite and measures approximately 9 feet 6 inches long. The trough features a water tank supported by squat rectangular granite piers. However, the spout and pump mechanism are missing. An inscription on the trough includes the name of the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association, along with a dedication that reads 'IN MEMORY OF / A BELOVED FRIEND 1910'.
