Description

This is a cattle trough and drinking fountain built around 1916. It is made from granite and measures approximately 9 feet 6 inches long. The structure features a water tank that rests on squat piers, with a gabled west end that includes an integrated drinking fountain on the west face. The spout and pump mechanism are missing. On the east face of the tank, there is an inscription that bears the name of the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association.
