Description

The Spaniards Inn is a 17th-century building constructed of brick, with some timber framing and weatherboarding. It has three storeys and features four windows, mostly sashes with glazing bars, arranged with irregular spacing, larger on the first floor. The roof is M-shaped, tiled, and partly concealed by a parapet. Inside, there is panelling that may be original but is heavily covered with paint. The inn has many connections to both real and legendary historic figures. Although it has been altered, it retains significant character.
