Description

This is a pair of gate piers with gates, dating from the 19th century. Originally built as the main entrance to The Firs, the site is now known as The Chantry and White House. The gate piers are constructed from rusticated Portland stone and feature enriched capitals. The gates themselves are of 20th-century wrought iron. Formerly listed under the London Borough of Camden, the item is now under the jurisdiction of the London Borough of Barnet.
