Description

This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of houses, numbered 104 to 120, on Shakespeare Walk in N16. The terrace comprises a row of houses, each with three storeys and a basement, and two windows wide. The houses are constructed of stock brick with a stucco frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The blocking course is missing from three of the houses. The ground floor is rusticated stucco, featuring vermiculate keystones above the doors and windows. The windows are sash windows with margin lights; the upper windows are within stucco-lined reveals, set under gauged flat brick arches (two of which have been replaced with modern casements). The front doors are six-panel doors with flat pilasters extending through the cornice head and are topped by a rectangular fanlight. Numbers 104 to 120, as a group, are associated with the forecourt railings of numbers 108 to 116.
